AI notetaker for Microsoft Teams.
Luni joins Teams meetings as a guest, records the conversation, and returns a transcript and recap. Works with internal-only meetings, external invitations, and channel meetings.
How it actually works.
Luni connects to a Teams call as an external guest. No tenant-wide app install, no admin consent, no Microsoft 365 enterprise approval. Paste the meeting URL into Luni and the bot joins.
Teams meetings come in flavours — channel meetings inside your org, external client invitations, federated calls between organisations. Luni handles all three the same way, treating each as a meeting URL to attend.
Stream's native transcription requires per-tenant configuration and Microsoft 365 Copilot licensing. Luni delivers the same outcome — searchable transcript with speaker labels — without the licensing tier or admin policy work.
Outlook, Gmail, Apple Mail — wherever you read email, Luni's recap arrives there. Action items with assignees, decisions made, key quotes. Reply with edit instructions and Luni regenerates.
Connect your Outlook calendar (Pro+) and Luni auto-attends every Teams meeting on your invite list. Skip the paste-a-link step, skip the lobby — Luni is on the meeting before you arrive.
Things people ask.
Does my IT admin need to approve Luni for our Microsoft tenant?
No, not for the basic meeting recording flow. Luni joins as an external guest using the public Teams join URL. There's no tenant-wide app to install, no admin consent grant, no Microsoft 365 admin policy to update. Calendar auto-join (Pro+) does request your personal calendar permission, but that's a per-user opt-in.
Will Luni show up in the Teams admin centre as a managed app?
Only if you configure Microsoft Calendar auto-join under Pro+. The basic record-from-link flow leaves no admin-centre footprint at all.
Does Luni work with Microsoft Teams channel meetings?
Yes. Channel meetings are technically standard Teams meetings hosted in a channel context — Luni joins them the same way it joins any other Teams meeting.
What about Teams meetings with the lobby setting on?
When the lobby is enforced, the meeting organiser has to admit Luni from the waiting room. The bot waits patiently and announces itself in the participant list. For recurring meetings with calendar auto-join, the organiser can pre-authorise by adding Luni to the invite.
Is this an alternative to Microsoft Copilot for Teams?
It's an alternative to the meeting-notes piece of Copilot. Copilot does much more (document drafting, email assistance, Loop integrations) and costs about $30/user/month for the privilege. If you only need the meeting transcription and recap part, Luni at £10/month covers that without requiring a Copilot licence on every seat.
